Celiac Disease is a hidden aliment affecting millions and lurking in just as many. It is simply the inability for the body to process a few of the most common additives in the modern world; wheat, barely, and rye. More specifically gluten. If someone with this disease has something with even tiny amounts of gluten which is considered just 20 parts per million, they can experience severe stomach pain, headaches and more while at the same time doing massive amounts of damage to their internal organs.
Currently there is no cure or even treatment, only avoiding what triggers the reaction. A few years ago, our youngest son was diagnosed with this and it has been a struggle at times finding food that is safe for him to eat. Added to the fact that food that specifically says is gluten free is generally more expensive, it becomes even more difficult.
Here at Draf10 Motorsports, we support any effort to find a cure to this life altering disease so those with it can live happy, normal lives.

Helping those who gave everything and to never let them be forgotten.
Ever since the renaming of FDNY Racing in 2001 and the founding of Draf10 Motorsports, they have been the main focus of our efforts to get out on the track and raise money for families that need to continue living.
